NarSysTech’s Realtime Drainage Analysis (RDA) represents a unique real-time capability that provides operators with the insight required to better assess treatment efficiency and in turn more effectively design and evaluate stimulation plans, more accurately predict and avoid well interference.

NarSysTech's Production Guided Interpolation (PGI) uses the drainage predictions provided by the Production Potential Model (PPM) to interpolate between time dependent seismic and electro-magnetic volumes and provide a more accurate reflection changes within the reservoir over time.

The Production Potential Model Server (PPMServer) provides NarSysTech Clients with the ability to control the construction, update and output of a Production Potential Model (PPM) from their software systems. The PPMServer includes a Python application programming interface and a PPM Server Manager Daemon.

Real-Time Drainage Analysis (RDA)

The RDA Real-time monitoring data will be used to update the reservoir model and provide the drainage forecasts required to make quicker and more effective decisions during the evaluation phase. As decision cycle times are compressed, drilling, log and monitoring data can be incorporated into the model during the development phase to review the continued plan effectiveness and identify additional opportunities to increase production and reduce development costs.

Real-time Drainage Analysis is dependent on a unique, patent pending, technology that is used to construct a Production Potential Model (PPM) that can be instantly updated at the end of each stage. The PPM integrates all data that provides insight into the production properties of the reservoir, including wells and logs, microseismic events, propped, activated and native discrete fractures, interpreted induced fractures, seismic interpreted surfaces, faults and attributes, and production data, resulting in an actionable model of the current reservoir state.

Building on the relative permeabilities provided by the PPM, the RDA utilizes a fast-marching method to determine optimal flow paths and relative start times for each element, a materials balance approach is used to volume matched with production decline curves and generate actual production start times for each cell, resulting in a forecast of the expected drainage area within seconds of the completion of a stage.

NarSysTech’s Realtime Drainage Analysis software recognizes the benefits of standardized drilling and completion plans and provides a tool to continuously evaluate plan effectiveness and potentially make pressure, rate, volume and proppant load adjustments that further optimize the producing volume, without changing stimulation layout (aka factory plan). This unique technology is the basis for life-of-field drainage modeling.

Production Guided Interpolation (PGI)

Production Guided Interpolation (PGI) accepts the input of two or more volumes of data, each collected at different times and interpolates the values at anytime between the provided volumes based on production effects. The production effects at any point in space or time are provided by the Production Potential Model (PPM) which can be continuously updated as new reservoir and production data are collected. The result of this unique workflow is a non-linear, spatially constrained and time-dependent interpolation where the interpolation scalars at each point in the volume are dependent on the amount of production at that point.

Production Potential Server (PPMServer)

The Production Potential Model Server (PPMServer) allows the application to be controlled through a Python Application Programming Interface (API) or operated without any user interface or graphics (headless mode). It is used to embed the modeling and drainage analysis within client applications to provide better integrated workflows and more automation. Using the PPMServer, the client application would create projects, construct and update the PPM and query the model for drainage forecasts which would be provided in slice and volume data blocks.

Frequently Ask Questions

CoinAI App

Where can I get the Coin Collector App?

The Coin Collector App is currently available from the Google Play Store.

How much does it cost?

It is licensed on a subscription model where you can subscribe for one-month at $2.99/month or a full year at $29.99/year.

Does it support all coin types?

Yes, any coin can be added to the catalog collection. However, the artificial intelligence coin identification is initially limited to coins from the United States.

Is information about my coins stored or transmitted across the Internet?

No. All coin information is stored locally on your device. Images of individual coins are transmitted for AI identification only and are not persisted on our servers or anywhere else.

Where can I get more information?

Contact NarSysTech at support@narsystech.com. More information can also be found on this website.

Real-Time Drainage Analysis (RDA)

How would log and seismic attribute data be integrated into a model?

Logs and seismic attribute data that provide information regarding the distribution of natural fractures along the borehole and within the reservoir, respectively, would be used to weight the flow characteristics of reservoir elements and where those elements intersected induced fractures, enhance production.

How would DTS and DAS data be used?

DTS and DAS data provide two potential inputs into the model. First, knowing what ports are taking the most fluid during stimulation provides information regarding the natural conductivity near the borehole which would bias the initial drainage. Second, production estimates based on fiber optic data can be used to calibrate the model resulting in more accurate drainage estimates.

Is the format of microseismic events standardized?

Yes. The software will accept comma and white space delimited event data with any number of attributes. Recognizing that each microseismic service company may provide specialized attributes with the events, the software provides mechanisms to identify these attributes and determine how they should be applied to the model construction.

How can a client get access to the software?

Through partnerships with NarSysTech some microseismic contractors can provide the forecasting capabilities in conjunction with their services, alternatively the software can be licensed directly from NarSysTech by the operator.

Production Guided Interpolation (PGI)

Does is the PPM used for volume interpolation?

The PPM provides a relative production start time and estimated production from each cell within the model. When interpolating between two volumes acquired at different times, the time each cell starts being interpolated and the interpolation scalar are computed from the the start time and estimated production percentage, respectively.

What types of data can be interpolated?

The PGI supports SEGY and comma delimited volume files regardless of the data type. The obvious types are seismic attribute and electromagnetic data, but there are no limitations as long as the supplied formats are supported.

Can more than two volumes and varying time interval be handled?

Yes.

Production Potential Server (PPMServer)

Do I need a PPMServer?

No. The RDA and PGI products can be purchased separately and do not require the PPMServer.

Is the PPMServer sold separately?

No. The PPMServer can be thought of as an extension to the application that allows our clients to embed production potential modeling and drainage estimates into their software systems. When using the PPMServer, the user has the option to display the application UI and graphics while driving the software via the application programmer interface (API) or run it headless.
